Senior Destination Session | Marleah | Warren JFK
Marleah is one of my ANP reps this year which means a lot of things. First off, she spends a ton of time in front of my camera (which I love). She got some extra perks like a senior destination session because she’s super sweet and dedicated to the team and I like to reward that! And she has such a cool style! Guys seriously, I wish she was staying in the area (selfishly) so I could add her to the team as a stylist in the future!
So for Marleah’s shoot we had some pretty awesome plans. We were taking the short 5 hour drive to Indy to document city vibes and take advantage of that killer art museum to capture Marleah’s artsy side (**cough cough… Fault in Our Stars). BUT, the torrential downpour had other plans. Luckily, my amazing friends Jolene from Jolene Dombrowski and Brittany from Juliana Leighwho were on this trip with me helped come up with plan b. They’re both amazing photographers and if you’re in the Chicago or Madison area, I highly suggest checking them out.
So instead of cool architecture and art museum layouts, we used the super cute airbnb I had booked and basically shot in the dark. I have to say I love the moody vibe that came from those shots. Marleah definitely got the most variety of any shoot, ever!
We were able to sneak in a few photos during a break in the rain around the neighborhood. We even found some cactus plants in Indiana. I took it as a sign that things were turning around for us!
When I mentioned variety, I feel like I didn’t do it justice. At all. Just keep scrolling.
This last outfit is everything. The gingham print with that scarf and those heels… ahhhh!! And the location. And props to Jolene for thinking of the shades (shades that I happened to have from a random pool club the day before).
Moral of this blog post… Marleah is a doll with a killer sense of style. Rain happens and ruins plans but sometimes other really cool stuff happens instead. Traveling is my thing so if you want a senior destination shoot, email me or contact me!
